  • Why there are old people in the world. An old clan chief who remembered when the British first came to his village told me this story. I used it several times in community meetings, when advocates for change were pushing too hard. --Rcollman 10:47, 5 November 2007 (EST)
  • Why elephants respect the mouse. Technically this was not a Nigerian story but one of 2 or 3 stories we learned in Pidgen English as part of training. This was a great story to offer in trade for an authentic one, when there were kids around. --Rcollman 10:47, 5 November 2007 (EST)
