The Aftermath
From Reydala
Prologue
Year 3252. Lucion was devising a way to put a stop to the Dragon Wars once and for all. After much thinking, and discounting plans, he came up with a solution he liked: Send the dragons off to live on their own plane. However, they had a choice to stay. Those who stayed would be no smarter then normal animals.
Perhaps Lucion should of saught counsel from the other gods. Maybe he should of came up with a better solution. Either way, the spell he casted changed Reydala from what it once was..but at what price?
Banato
In the country of Banato, there was this curious broze dragon. Her name was Teris and one day she decided to take on a wild elf shape and wander around. Little did she know that she would end up falling in love with a man there.
Sometime later, the Dragon Queen and Teris had a chat. The spell was explained to Teris but she refused to leave. She could not stand to leave her husband and two sons, she did not know what that decision cost her.
Several months later the family was about to have dinner. Teris was preparing some food when she all of a sudden collapsed and started moaning in pain. The rest of the family, of course, was concerned, as this has never happened before. Teris stood up, uneasily and plainly told her family not to come closer and she ran outside.
After she got about 20 feet from the house, with the father and the two sons closely behind, the collapsed to the ground with a shriek and started...changing. Teris had not told her husband, or her sons, about her being a dragon. The people who heard the shriek, thinking somethign was wrong, hurried to the location and stared at the spectacle.
The dragon, once she came to, looked around. And she saw thta most of the villagers had weapons on them because they thought something was wrong. And even though her intelligence was now just a former shell of what it once was, she knew that sharp objects could hurt her and kill her. And with that, she bugeled loudly and sent electrifying doom out at the nearest group of villagers.
Panic and chaos immediately ensued. The father then told his sons to run away and hide somewhere and during the fleeing the brothers ended up seperated. Not many survived that day, as the dragon mowed down the attackers and blasted the fleeing people with her breath.
But the two brothers did end up surviving. Each with mostly foggy memories of their childhood there due to the tramatizing effects of what happened. They have even met each other before in passing and they did not recognized eachother. The names of the brothers you ask? Mikhal and Renzin.
