Captain Val J. Kaizan
Much about his past before becoming captain of the "Blue Kaiser" is unknown, though he is rumored to have had previous military experience in his youth. It is rumored that he received the position of captain through a close friendship with the clan mother. Regardless, Val has proved himself through his five years to be a reliable if somewhat eccentric Captain. He cares little for military procedure or ritual, but always completes his orders (though often in unconventional ways). Though his 44 years of age is young for a captain he is quite popular among his crew, despite his penchant toward vulgarities and liquor. He treats his crew like his family, and knows his ship (Which he calls the "Valkaizer") better than those that built it.
First Mate Reid K. Farlo
A previous tank, dragoon, and destroyer pilot, Reid Farlo has had an illustrious career since his graduation with honors from the Deloria Military Academy. He has received countless medals for his valor on the battlefield, and though he is only 29 years of age many are pointing to him as the next captain of the OB-M3. He accepted his current position voluntarily after studying captain Val's service record, believing him to be an exemplary captain despite his faults. Reid is a very different character than his captain, and frequently corrects him on proper military procedure and existing conventions. They've been known to poke fun at each other relentlessly, always laughing afterward. He takes over for the captain during periods of sleep (and drunkenness) and has shown immense talent for it, though in contrast to Val most of Reid's orders are strictly by-the-book. A charismatic, famous, and quite attractive man, Reid is quite popular among the ladies, and is known to gather quite a crowd of fans whenever the ship comes into port. He has served under Captain Val for 4 years now.
Gunnery Officer Kara Y. Del'gra
A 24 year-old former tank Pilot with no academy training, applying the term "Loose Cannon" to her would be somewhat of an understatement. In her combat years she was known for driving her tank ahead of her unit straight into the enemy lines, guns blazing. That she's still alive today bears witness to her natural piloting ability, and her number of confirmed kills speaks of her deadly accuracy on the battlefield. Her personality closely resembles her actions on the battlefield, easy to anger and always leaping before looking. She was immensely unpopular with her mechanics, her tanks often coming back smoking wrecks full of bullet holes. On board the "Blue Kaiser" for three years now, she and captain Val get along just fine and the two have been known to engage in drinking contests on numerous occasions. She is less fond of Reid, who is more often than not the focus of her temper. Still, she enjoys firing the Kaiser's guns enough to follow anyone's order to shoot.
Communications Officer Dasir D. Kae'ma
The greenhorn on board, Dasir has only been aboard the Kaiser for 3 months now and is fresh from the Academy. He has had trouble adjusting to Captain Val's unconventional tactics, and several mistakes early on has led to him being widely ridiculed. As time went on he has accepted his fate and with that slowly became accepted by the crew. Captain Val affectionately refers to the duo on the bridge as "Basser and Dasser", which Dasir appreciates far more than his previous nicknames of "Admiral Fuck-up" and "Corporal Fudgykins". Though he has not brought himself to join in the captains revelry, he has shown himself quite capable of running communications on-board and has developed several new encryption technologies to ensure they stay on-board. Contrary to his role on the ship, Dasir is very reserved and quiet off-duty, spending much of his time modifying transmitters and receivers to improve their range and efficiency.
