Basics Name: Evanthe Shahrizai, Eva Age: Appears to be early 20s Height: About 5'8" or so. I'm not sure if elves are on the taller or shorter side..but I'm on the shorter side myself, so I lean towards being tall :x Appearance: Slender elven girl with waist-length wavy black hair that always ties back in some fashion. She has blue-green eyes, usually sparkling with merriment or amusement, but occasionally darkened with anger when her temper finds its way out. She looks a lot more frail than she really is, which is why she's often greeted with skepticism when she tells people she's a skilled ranger.

Home Hometown: On the outskirts of a central Walstad Empire town named Liten Big City/Small City: Middle-to-large sized city that is preferably rich in commerce and trade. Climate: Judging from the map, I'd say foresty. Coastal/Mountainous: Neither General Alignment: All of the above? It's a large enough city that all sorts of people can be found.

Family Parents: Alaric and Melisande Shahrizai (both alive) Rich/Poor: Middle leaning towards upper class Reputation: Honest, hard-working Famous/Infamous Ancestors: Melisande comes from a noble family, so there was probably someone that made them so, in some brave way..*waves an arm vaguely* Ethics: Never accept the first offer. Haggle, haggle, haggle :D Religion: As they're a merchant family, Terrema is a big influence in their religion. Government: Middle Family Figurehead: Typically Alaric believes he does, but of course Melisande does. :) Family History: Alaric and Melisande met and married(much to the disagreeance of Melisande's parents) and moved to the town of Liten to start a new merchant business. Business has always prospered, so the Shahrizai family have made a name for themselves in their town as a very honest and respectable family. Melisande is the perfect example of elven grace and nobility, and many townsfolk admire her. Alaric is known for being stubborn yet fair. He has an occasional burst of temper(especially when provoked by Eva), but it's very quick to pass. He's generally a very friendly, very talkative/loud person...just like his daughter. Their oldest son, Hennet, has come to be known to possess great kindness and concern for others, while their younger daughter is one that most people can't help but love(despite her constant mischief).

Instruction Education: Eva was home-taught from her mother, who taught her how to be refined...or however you expect nobles to be(though it doesn't exactly show). Jobs/Apprentices: For a small time, Eva was apprenticed to her father to learn the trade of merchants, but it didn't last for various reasons. Origins in Class: Always fond of nature, Evanthe learned the skills of her trade from a close family friend named Kebron. Eva was taught by him shortly after her disastrous, but short, time apprenticed by her father.

Life Events Noteworthy childhood events: Basically a very happy, if not slightly boring, childhood that has morphed Eva into the sunny, carefree, mischievous person that she is today.

Relationships Family Ties: Evanthe is very close with her mother, as her mother is the one who first supported her life choices(becoming a ranger). She loves her father, and they maintain a very loving relationship sprinkled by stubborn arguments on her choice of class. As the two share many personality traits, they butt heads the most out of the family. Siblings: Older brother, Hennet. Eva and Hennet get along great, though they are as different as night and day. Hennet is calm, collected, and kind where Eva is wild, fun-loving, and tricky. They seem to balance each other out, and Hennet seems to have a calming influence on Eva. He's one of the only few that can talk her out of her not-so-wise antics. Hennet himself is a follower of Mulinel and hopes to one day become a part of a temple. For now, he stays with his parents, helping along the merchant business, with his father unknowing about his real wishes(much to Eva's frustration). Friends: Everyone? Evanthe has never been the unfriendly type, and tries to befriend anyone and everyone she comes across. She has very few close friends, her brother and teacher being her closest confidantes. Rivals/Enemies: Not so much an enemy as a friendly childhood rival, Seara was another student of Kebron. Eva and Seara excelled in most areas of study, so they often found themselves in competition vying for the favor of Kebron. Eva, always slightly envious of Seara's deep dedication, always tried to outdo the half-elf in any way that she could, since Kebron obviously held a deep respect and affection for Seara. After awhile, Seara suddenly left the study without much word, leaving Kebron deeply worried. Eva, more hoping to gain more favor than worried, volunteered to track her comrade down and bring her back(or at least find out if she was okay) as Kebron couldn't leave his students behind. On the whole, Eva knows more about Seara's fighting style than personality, but does consider the half-elf a good friend regardless. She tracked Seara down to Kresevae, which is how she ended up in the town. Religion: Though Eva was raised in a family of Terrema followers, she finds herself more drawn to Ragnae and the deity's more interesting ways. She admires the goddess, but does not stupidly excuse herself from being subject to the goddess' impulsive tendencies.
