Basic Character Information
Entry Point
Just after the in-game events surrounding the Time Bubble and the Dalek overthrow of Earth. Other than that, time and space don't really matter to Ted.
Physical Description
Corporeally, Ted is a white male in his early thirties with dark hair, green eyes, and a dozen and a half tattoos. He likes going shirtless to show off the tattoos. Other than that, his manner of dress is variably sporty, stylish, and geeky.
Personality
Ted comes across as a very simple and slow man. Where Chuck washes away the knowledge of the universe with liquor, Ted prides himself on being able to almost completely ignore it - so long as he ignores a lot of other aspects of reality as well - and spends most of his time blissfully ignorant of absolutely everything.
He's fascinated by people and the way they interact with each other (and him), because he thinks that all living things are inherently mischievous, like he is.
History
Ted is the middle Black Guardian, involved mainly in sewing seeds of mischief across the universe. His history is long and convoluted.
His first appearance on Earth (in his mind) was in the early twentieth century. Since then, he's been to all of Earth's eras and interesting locations. He always had an affinity for Paris, but never really knew why until he met Ace.
Ted realized that Chuck had gone missing from their universe and went to go look for him, finding him in early twenty-first century Earth, just after the Dalek time bubble had popped. He started to hang out with Chuck's friends, the Antisocial Bastards Society, which was where he met Ace McShane.
He became fascinated by the brash young woman, and when she was accidentally de-aged by a couple of wayward boys, Ted tried to correct the problem for her by making her a Klingon. In his mind, it meant she would finally be in a race of people who would appreciate her aggressive nature properly. Ace didn't fancy that so much, and so Ted changed her back to a human, of the proper age.
Ted persisted in what had become an impromptu courtship of Ace, eventually winning her heart. He asked Ace to move in with him, and she agreed, and the two decided to find a flat together. He decided to take Ace's surname, both to show her how much he loved her and so people wouldn't think he was "like Madonna or Cher or somethin'." Worried that people would think they were brother and sister, Ted made small golden rings for the both of them. This was the first of their three weddings.
Their third wedding was the public one: officiated by Chuck and attended by a small group of friends and family in the backyard of the house Chuck made for them. They honeymooned on a small planet populated by talking potatoes, the inspiration for the Mr. Potato Head line of toys.

Random Facts
- His favorite Earth animal, besides humans, is the goat.
- Is a vegetarian, because he knows too many nice animals. Won't eat potatoes because he knows too many nice potatoes.
- Spent about 75 Earth years crafting his bollocks to make them a perfect match for his "dangly bits".
- Popped around time to see Ace at different points in her life, and get to know her better.
- Is madly in love with Ace and would do anything for her, even if it meant breaking the unspoken rules of his role in the universe.
- Thinks of Chuck like a big brother and Trixie like a little sister.
- Really doesn't get the White Guardians. They all seem so unhappy all the time. Thinks Tim's the best of the WGs, 'cause he's surly.
- Decided, after some teasing from Ace, that his full name is Edward McShane.
OOC Only Character Information
- Knows a lot about a lot, but isn't allowed to do anything about most of it.
- Is trying to figure out ways for Ace to become immortal so they can be together for ever. It's the only secret he's keeping from her and Chuck (he normally shares everything with Ace and most everything with Chuck).
