Looking down into the ever eerie insidious glowing pit you think to yourself that it might not be too smart to enter this placement. Without some sort of escape plan. You reach out with your small hands to pull at the iron grate but it doesn't budge. Looking around for something that you could possibly use to try and pry the heavy iron from its place you notice a glimmer in the dark not too far from you leaning against the tree you just feel from. Why hadn't you noticed it before, you think to yourself as you reach out to grasp the object. The object, you notice right away is a well crafted double edged sword about three feet in length crafted of a very high quality flame tempered steel. Who or what had left this behind and are they nearby you think to yourself as you use the edge to pry the heavy grate to the side, edging it just enough to grasp the grate with your small almost babylike hands. Lifting with every ounce of strength you can muster you finally stand the iron wheel on its end just so you can push it over on its other side. The hole now fully accessible suddenly doesn't seem so inviting to you anymore. Bending over to get a better look into the glowing tunnel your foot slips on the edge of the hole and you fall down about twenty feet to the bootom of the pit. Banging yourelf up pretty good on the way down but not breaking anything, atleast nothing noticeable, you lay there looking up and out into the black of night from where you just came, the tunnel from which you fell has no ladder for which to return the way you came. So forward is the only option now. You sit up and see that the sword you had just conveniently found has also fell in with you. You feel a small measure of relief in knowing that atleast you now have something to try to protect yourself with incase you happen to come across something else that could be considered dangerous.
