Fight the monster

You spin around and dive for the chunk of metal. Gripping the exposed end you yank it out from under the pile of black material, intending to use it like sword. As it breaks free, it slashes a large hole in the nearest slimy sac, spilling its contents to the ground. You stumble and fall to the ground as the ruptured sac flings milky white fluid into your eyes. Scrambling backwards on your elbows you manage to wipe some of it off your face and out of your sight. At your feet, the white goo appears to bubble. With a sickening jolt, you realize that hundreds of spiders the size of your hand are swimming and crawling underneath the viscous film. You scramble backwards as the first few crawl up onto your feet.
Two huge hairy legs slam down onto your shoulders, pinning you to the floor. You look up past two dripping fangs into at least sixteen gleaming black eyes. In a single swift movement those huge fangs descend and pierce two bloody holes into the side of your torso. Almost immediately the throbbing ache from the legs gripping your shoulders and the tearing pain from the fangs fade away. You realize that you have been screaming only when you trail off into paralyzed silence. Your fading senses numbly feel several spiders tumble into your open mouth and you realize with a pang of horror that you cannot move. Your last image as your eyesight dims is of the huge monster leaning slowly down and opening its jaws to say...
"Yesssss, feed my childrennnn"
