Her praise makes you feel cold, as if your veins are becoming ice. At first it stings, but slowly, you become numb.

"Anything," you reply. The thought of pleasing her brings happiness to your otherwise numb heart.
She cackles gleefully. It is the most beautiful sound in the world.
