Peimin Ni

Peimin Ni is the adopted father of Auron and Rikku as well as the Papa/Uncle to Yuna. He is the biological father to Sophie. Unbeknownst to him, his Final FantasyX/X-2 counterpart is High Summoner Braska. He is native to Shanghai and is an accomplished scholar, sage, and probably Bodhisattva. He currently teaches at Grand Valley State University.

Trivia

• During the Cultural Revolution, Ni lost some of his fingers. He re-taught himself how to use his fingers and hands by doing Chinese calligraphy. He is incredibly talented at it. Many of his works are on display at GVSU's library.
• He taught himself English by listening to records over and over when he and his wife came to the United States. His English is now fluent.
• Ni's apartment in Shanghai is "the coolest thing EVAR"
• There is a very old noodle restaurant in Shanghai that Ni's father went to every day. The food is incredibly delicious. Both Sophie and Yuna love this place as well.
