Barbara Shack is one of the stranger members of that already strange group of users that make up RationalWiki.
Her oddly-worded articles show an obsession with relentless, bitter criticism of the Roman Catholic Church. She often used to work in some sort of vacuum: possibly because other editors didn't want to validate her work by correcting it. However, beginning with Human's complete refactoring, and forced trimming-down, of the previously tedious, tendentious "Magdalene laundries" article, she seems to be getting a bit more integrated into the site. Presumably the RatianalWikians no longer fear being struck down by AKjeldsen if they encourage her.
However, even the most radical atheists on the site (such as Bob M or SusanG) seem in no hurry to hang out with her, and in any event, she shows an Icewedge-like disdain for comments, so communicating with her would not be easy.
