He now carries an anti-Phil gun at all times and owns his own house (although it's a treehouse behind Phil's house. He is "overseer" of Bonus Stage 2.

Over the course of the series, Joel became good friends with Clan, and the rest of the members of the fanbase as well. Clan taught him about the Power Gems, and told him their purpose. Joel currently has the Red Gem in his possession, but in Ready, Set, Rex? he gives it to Jinzo.
