Heat Inactivated Horse Serum

  1. Aliquot 1.5 mL of serum into 1.5 mL micro centrifuge tubes (do not have to dilute serum) .
  2. Label the micro centrifuge tubes w/ HI-HS, date, and your initials on the side and top of the tubes.
  3. Place tubes in the book labeled HI-HS, which is found on the bottom shelf of the -20 freezer.
  4. If there is any serum left in the original HI-HS bottle, place in the door of the -20 freezer.
