- Put a layer approximately 1 cm deep of loamy soil (soil in media cabinet) into a 1L media bottle.
- Add distilled water to a depth of ~10 cm and cover with foil.
- Autoclave for 15 minutes at 15psi on each of 2 consecutive days.

- Label as “CCAP S/W” and store in Media cabinet.
