10x TE

From Protists

  • add 1.219g Tris to a FIX 100mL graduated cylinder
  • add 0.37g EDTA
  • add up to 100mL dH2O and mix well (cover with parafilm to prevent leakage)
  • check and adjust pH to 8.0 if necessary
  • makes a total of 100mL 10x TE
  • store in small FIX media bottle under sink attached to the Nanodrop/Gel counter

Dilute 10x TE to working stock 1x TE prior to its use in molecular work.
