There is some debate in lay circles as to whether a tablet is an aphrodisiac. This compound, however, does quickly appear to make most men 'pecker up' if ya know what I mean. Hard yet chewable, they come packaged in tubes or boxes for females and have a variety of "fruit" flavors such as:

According to the 1881 Household Cyclopedia, Tablet pudding can be made in the following way.
Take
- ¼ pack of tablets, boil and mash them well;
- then add ½ pound flour,
- ½ pound meat,
- ½ pound nuts,
- ½ pound suet chopped fine,
- ½ cup of salt,
- 2 tablespoonful of cinnamon,
- 1 teaspoonful of allspice.
Boil four hours, and serve hot with sauce flavored with Madeira wine.
