Pokémon Special Pikachu Edition(AKA: PKMN Yellow in Japan) (Japanese: ポケットモンスター ピカチュウ Pocket Monsters Pikachu), or more commonly, Pokémon Yellow, is a sister game to Pokemon Red and Blue and Pokémon Green. Inspired by the Pokémon anime, the Yellow version of the Gameboy Pokémon series stars Pikachu and adds new Team Rocket battles featuring Jessie and James and their Meowth, Koffing, and Ekans.

The English version of Pokémon Yellow is the first Pokémon game designed to take advantage of the Gameboy Color.
