Sometimes when I speak with consumers about goals they look to interpret the intention of goals as being to get a great deal more points. Naturally items are crucial but there is so a lot extra to objective setting that I want to share with you.
Of course it is fundamental to have ambitions for new factors ...
Probably your dream dwelling by the ocean ...
Maybe a nice shiny new auto to get you around in style ...
or even a new iPod to listen to your Ambitions Magic CD's on :)
It really is great to set goals for new points, but not for the issues themselves, rather what they will make of you to get them.
But there is another kind of purpose which I want to challenge you to consider about and commence to set. It is soul ambitions! Now I know you are questioning ... what are soul goals and how do they apply to me and my life? Very good question, so come with me and find out why you will quickly be applying them in your life.
Soul objectives are those goals that are larger than you! They are goals that effect on other persons and on the world about you. They are ambitions that you invest your heart and soul into without any expectation of return. Soul objectives are what provides life its passion, purpose & which means! Think of Martin Luther King Jnr ... his whole life was dedicated to the pursuit of his soul goals! In the finish he gave his life for his soul targets. It requires a mighty target and a could man to give your life to.
What about Mother Theresa? She passionately pursued her soul ambitions of taking care of these who had been not empowered to appear right after themselves. Now I am not suggesting that you will want to pursue grand objectives that have a profound effect on the world around you ... rather, that you look deep inside oneself and get one thing that you have a passion to contribute to the planet.
What is it that you feel a sense of want to do some thing about? What cause can you see your self adding value to? What community, national or international projects are calling you to them and resonating with you? All of us want soul goals that we can invest our hearts, our minds and our souls into. We all require to really feel a connection with one thing bigger than ourselves. Its inherent in our souls to want to give without expectation of return.
