Wirral FM was a Pirate Radio station started in the early 1980's and did regular mid-week broadcasts on 92.7 and 93.00 FM [1]
This station was on until around 1986 when they had a 'near miss' with the authorities.
It's sister station KDA FM used to diolate night broadcasts at weekends but was raided in 1987 [2]
