How Parlancia came to be
Parlancia was made out of a different forum, called Gamesters-Paradise. Now, GP was a small forum made by Sparks/Sparky/Liam, whatever his name was. Gavin and Chris were admins there, too. I only joined in the later months of its existence, bringing some more activity to their Spam.
GP was slowly losing activity, and somewhere early September Sparks pulled the plug, from one day to the next. And the domain was open for sale. Price tag was something around 25,000 dollar (o_O). Needless to say the Staff and those that still frequented the forum were quite shocked.
A thread was made on GF (Filefront Forums, quite a big forum, many of PLF's members originated from there) by AzH, asking for answers. Soon after which AzH helped Gavin make a new forum, for the refugees of GP. Parlancia (PLF) is this forum. In November more members came and started giving PLF shape; these members are people like cRiSsI, Mr._P.W., mentalmagic, John, Fetter, The Paki, madcat, comet_buster, Big A, Bleh, Disturbing Sam, Ruan, Feelfree, AzH, Jebus, and many more I forget daily about (oh yeah Vasili too). For many months these members posted and many new members came. Then came June who referred many others as well. Then at last this article ends with me saying that the PLFWiki was created and that is where I am writing this article and thanks to John this place seems to have a wee bit of content.
