Modes

Modes are the general rules of play. Different situations cause transition between the modes.
[edit] Mode Zero
- Both Players draw a card.
- If divisible by 2, 3 or 5 (i.e., not 1, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19 or 23) – The player shouts “Hoizaa!”
- This repeats until one player says “hoizaa” and the other doesn’t. The one to say “hoizaa” is defined as “player one” and goes first.
- Player one’s just drawn card is randomized (thus removing it from play and replacing it with any number of random objects that are kept aside until the game completes unless specifically instructed otherwise)
- All other cards are then reshuffled into the deck.
- The players’ stats are then arranged:

- Player Two decides a specialism of either Mining or Forestry. Player One receives the other.
- Player Two draws a card, then Player One guesses if it is good or evil. If he is right, he laughs and draw seven cards. If he gets it wrong, he draws seven cards and 3 counters of his choice.
