Specific Card rules overrule Mode and Ambient Rules. Mode Rules overrule Ambient Rules. Ambient Rules occur each turn unless overruled. The Golden Rule can be overruled by any Rule if it is clearly stated to do so. Instances overrule any rule, including any rule that might overrule the Golden Rule, although more often that not these are the rules that overrule the rules of the Golden Rule.
