Marlon Brando
From Oneiropedia
“I coulda been a contender. I coulda been somebody. Instead of a bum, which is what I am, let's face it.”
~ Marlon Brando, On the Waterfront (1954)
Marlon Brando was an American actor known for his naturalistic performances.
[edit] Acting style
Brando had this voice, see, where it was like he was talkin' with marbles in his mouth. Real visceral, y'know? That's how he played Stanley Kowalski, and Terry Malloy. Big slovenly guys, he always played. One of the best method actors. So he started off with these great, award-winning roles, right? Then he was Don Vito Corleone making offers nobody could refuse in The Godfather. But then by the '80s and '90s, he slipped into playin' roles that just sucked. Then he died a couplea years ago. But great actor, seriously.
