Databases
We subscribe to many different e-resources covering all aspects of information that you will find useful for your studies. Many of the databases can be used whichever business discipline you are studying, however others are more subject specific e.g. market research databases for [marketing], or legal databases for [law].
The databases fall into two different types; those which give you access to journal articles, and those that give you access to raw data e.g. statistics, company info etc
ABI/INFORM global
Covers a wide subject area for business & management. Largely full text articles, with some abstracts.
Blackwell Synergy
Blackwell Synergy is the online journal service from Blackwell Publishing, providing full-text access to around 655 journals in a wide range of subjects, including business.
EBSCO-Psychology and Behavioural Sciences Collection
EBSCO Psychology and Behavioral Sciences Collection is a full-text database of over 500 journals covering topics such as emotional and behavioural characteristics, psychiatry & psychology, mental processes, anthropology, and observational & experimental methods. Coverage is from 1965. Very good for consumer behaviour.
