Anita Evelyn Callahan is a graduate of Hogwarts and a general assignment reporter for the Daily Prophet. She was born in London on January 17, 1991 to Muggle parents Benjamin and Isabelle Callahan.

Nita is the youngest child and only daughter of Donald and Grace Callahan. She has two brothers, Benjamin and Jacob, who are both several years older than she is. Benjamin is the father of Lia Callahan, a fourth year Ravenclaw.
