Lia has a bit of a book-lending sort of friendship with [[Bri Richards]], a fifth year Ravenclaw. Despite the year's age difference, they bonded over a common love of excellent Muggle literature, and Lia was happy to see Bri return to Hogwarts. | Lia has a bit of a book-lending sort of friendship with [[Bri Richards]], a fifth year Ravenclaw. Family
Lia is an only child. Her father, Benjamin Callahan, is a lawyer in London, and her mother, Isabelle Callahan, is a professor of French. Isabelle homeschooled Lia until her Hogwarts letter arrived, surprising her entire family.
Friends
Lia is best friends with fellow Ravenclaw Naia Bergren. They met prior to the sorting ceremony, and though Lia was initially overwhelmed by Naia's more outspoken personality, they actually balance each other out to an extent.
She may or may not be developing a relationship with Slytherin Cody Nelson, who she has been friends with since early in her Hogwarts days. It's hard to say what's going to happen though, as Lia is pretty dense about relationship issues. They did, however, have a date of sorts during the last Hogsmeade weekend (December 3), which was packed full of awkward goodness but generally successful.
Lia has a bit of a book-lending sort of friendship with Bri Richards, a fifth year Ravenclaw. Despite the year's age difference, they bonded over a common love of excellent Muggle literature, and Lia was happy to see Bri return to Hogwarts.
Classes
- Ancient Runes
- Arithmancy
- Astronomy
- Charms
- Defense Against the Dark Arts
- Divination
- Herbology
- History of Magic
- Potions
- Transfiguration
Lia is strongest in classes that require her to focus on book and written work, though her wand work isn't bad either. But practical subjects? Not so much. Ancient Runes and Arithmancy make her day. Potions and Herbology, on the other hand, rather ruin it. Herbology makes her sneeze, and as for Potions...well, why is it that you can follow all the directions exactly and still not get it quite right?
Activities
Lia is a beater on the Ravenclaw Quidditch team. She isn't the greatest at it, but she does have fun. She used to seriously take ballet classes until she received her Hogwarts letter; she now settles for taking them in the summer only.
