Old Zevkhay is the twin of New Zevkhay, yet is not an identical twin. It is an industrial sprawl covering 384 square kilometres, with a massive ring of suburbs around the edge.

History
At the same time of the founding of New Zevkhay, there was a small village of native farmers who harboured refugees from the surrounding countryside pillaged during multiple wars, resulting in an increase to the size of a town equal in size to New Zevkhay.
The industrial revolution brought the shipyards and workshops, powered by whispering electric machines, which fuelled the government's lust for conquest and used the flood of resources that even Milkavich could not handle. However, the city's economy took off in 1890 with the opening of the first airship construction facility, at first for only small ships only 10's of metres in length, up to the massive fego-class airship over 1km long. With the acocmpanying textile, steelmaking and plastics industries set up alonside it, the demand for jobs increased from tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands, the housing on the city edge spreading around to Nez Zevkhay.
Its prosperity took a massive dent during the battle for the Twin City, in which constant artillery bombardments and the pillaging army stripped out the many thousands of factories, resulting in a reconstruction effort that took over a decade to get the city back on its feet.
In the modern age, the industry is slowly shifting into the business of administration and electronic services for foreign nations, yet there are still many thousands of factories paying high wages for the many dedicated and skilled workers who make up for their cost in product quality and the reknowned Alfegan custom of making everything to the highest of qualities.
Uses
The entirity of the land is divided into large plots of 800m x 800m, which are used by industry as airports, manufacturing plants, warehouses, retail outlets, power stations and headquarters.
The entirity of the river and the shoreline on the Old Zevkhay side is used for ferry terminals, shipyards, fleet mooring and goods unloading.

Sol'vi
The fortress of Sol'vi is an artificial island 2 miles offshore of Old Zevkhay, built ot protect from attack by sea in the '40s. Its main armament is a battery of 8 x 200mm long-range defence guns, used against ships, but now surpassed by the 8 missile batteries located inside its concrete and steel interior.
The fortress of Sol'vi also acts as the major air and sea traffic control platform in the bay of Zevkhay.
