Nick Bate's Playlist Shufflin' Adventures/2
From Nick Bate Wiki
This time I have other bands mixed in. This playlist consists of only one actual TMBG release, and that's Cast Your Pod To The Wind. But I also have some Nirvana and theSTART, and a couple miscellaneous things. Okay, shuffle is turned on, so let's go. I think I'll do ten this time.
[edit] Yeah, The Deranged Millionaire - They Might Be Giants
This track amuses me. I first got it off of Free Tunes a while back, so I think this was actually one of the first TMBG things I heard, like, other than the stuff on Dial-A-Song and A User's Guide.
[edit] Shakedown! - theSTART
First theSTART song I've ever heard. It is indeed sexy and of my favorites from the Shakedown! album. Time and Gorgeous are my other two faves from that album. I'm fairly new to the band, though, but I still really like Shakedown! and Death Via Satellite.
[edit] One-Winged Angel - Nobuo Uematsu
OH. MY. GOD. This is the final boss music from the PS1 game Final Fantasy 7. Best music track in the entire friggin' series, man! Seriously. I <3 this. Oh, and this has GOT to be proof that villains love opera.
[edit] Stay Away - Nirvana
WF says this is his favorite Nirvana song. Meh. I don't much care for it compared to their other stuff. This is usually one of the tracks on Nevermind that I skip. I do enjoy the album as a whole, though.
[edit] Sliver - Nirvana
Ooh, I enjoy this track. Doesn't seem like Nirvana's normal style, but what do I know? I've only heard two albums. :p This song is indeed quite catchy.
[edit] Trinity - theSTART
I like this track greatly, just like all the other tracks on Death Via Satellite. And, funny story (well not really), I once thought that the outro would segue pretty well into the intro to TMBG's Ondine. I was wrong. Well, I mean, maybe I would be correct if there was no silence in between. I dunno. But anyway, I love this track. It would be hot to play while having sex.
[edit] Haunted Floating Eye - They Might Be Giants
Ha, this is one of my favorites from the podcasts. I dunno why, it's just so hilarious and catchy. I was quite addicted to it for a few days. :D
[edit] On A Plain - Nirvana
Eh, not one of my favorite Nirvana songs, but it's not bad, either. It's pretty good. But sometimes I'll not really feel like listening and skip ahead to Something In The Way.
[edit] Territorial Pissings - Nirvana
Heh, I have the same thoughts on this as On A Plain. Sometimes I like it, sometimes I skip ahead. It's pretty catchy, though. "Never met a wise man / If so it's a woman" and "Just because you're paranoid / Don't mean they're not after you" are pretty clever lines, IMO.
[edit] My Other Phone Is A Boom Car - They Might Be Giants
Heh, I don't know, I don't much care for this track. Kinda disrupts the overall flow of the CD, but it's not that bad.
Episode 2 complete.
