Neomia is the world in which Neomia II takes place. The site itself is often called Neomia aswell, not just the world. The world of Neomia is similiar to the Neopets world Neopia in everything, except the content of the Worlds and mini-worlds.

The Map

Neomia can be seen in it's entirety by accessing the map from the sidebar or the icons at the bottom of the page (few pages) of the website. The map in .swf form looks like this: Click!

Every world on the map is accessible as they get unlocked. At the start of the plot, you are only allowed to enter Altador.
As you get through it, you can advance to the next world and so on.

The Worlds

So far 10 Worlds have been released to the public, 9 of which are accessible to one person, as the two of the worlds - Kiko Lake and Maraqua are randomly unlocked to one person after they beat Mystery Island - only one of them is unlocked (although the second one of them gets unlocked once you get past the war)!

The current worlds are listed below (in order):

Worlds:
1 Altador
2 Virtupets Space Station
3 Kreludor
4 Neomia Central
5 Krawk Island
6 Mystery Island
7 Maraqua
8 Kiko Lake
9 Brightvale
10 Meridell

After completing Altador, the player must help three robots in Virtupets Space Station, follow their foe to the moon of Kreludor, find out what's going on in Neomia Central, find a way out of Krawk Island, save the inhabitants of Mystery Island, join up in a war between Kiko Lake and Maraqua and finally, help save Brightvale from the curse.

Unlocking

To unlock different locations on the map, the player must complete the worlds in order by doing whatever tasks are required from them.
For example, completing Altador requires the player to find a constellation showing the next world.
When you come to a point where you can't advance any further, as the next world is not complete, you will see a sign saying 'To Be Continued'.

Website

Neomia as a website can be located at http://www.neomia.net, which is the second version of Neomia, making it Neomia II. Neomia I was the first Neomia there was, but was not actually released to the public.
You can find more about the two versions by visiting their articles.
