In AFMBE, characters should be Survivors. Norms would likely perish too quickly in Argos' brutal setting as it is written. On the other hand, Inspired can quickly grow too strong for the setting (see Jenette Williams for an example of "too strong, too fast") without careful monitoring by the Zombie Master.

At the back of the book is a section called "Worlds in Hell". Most story lines would be compatible with Argos, but recommended stories are:

• Sacred Soil
  
• Rebirth into Death
