Lavultures are large, lumbering birds, with small, wimpy black wings and a fat body. In the wild above the Molten Plain, they kill prey by dropping like a stone on them or blasting jets of steam in their eyes. The Vla'nuk Air Force noticed this and took several of them under their wing as heavy shuttles. The lavulture has a loooooong tail and a short neck.
