Darkblood Tribe

The Darkblood Tribe was formed when the weaker of the Zul'ark Tribe were pushed out of the group. The Darkblod Tribe, therefore, is very similar to them, but is different in some ways. Their language is fomed of growls with occasional roars.

[edit] Appearance
The Darkblood Tribe raptors have black scales. They also cover their body with moss to camoflague themselves. The Darkblood Tribe are very small raptors, with short tails and legs, but long arms. Most have black blood.
[edit] Villages
The Darkblood Tribe has 2 villages: Rargar and Graak.
Rargar is a small village that they first settled in when kicked out. It is built with wood at the base of the trees near the border between their territory and the Zul'ark Tribe's territory. This town is often raided by Zul'ark raptors, and many raids on Zul'ark villages are staged here.
On the other hand, Graak is a humungous village sprawling across the northern Living Streak. Instead of being built out of wood, it is nestled in the trees and built through and around them. This is where the biggest raptor rules his land from. Soldiers and recruits from the Kingdom are constantly trying to penetrate their defenses, but have failed again and again. The raptors living here are slightly smarter thean the ones Rargar.

These raptors culture is based on respect given by how many kills one has gained. A "kill" is counted as something that either put up a fight, or must be hunted to be killed. How many kills you have gained decides what you do, where you live, how you live, and when you do something. raptors with high kills get houses high up in trees in Graak. Raptors with low kills live in borderhouses outside of Rargar. Raptors with high kills get to go on raids, get plenty of food and water, and decide when they want to do something. Raptors with low kills work on meat farms (keeping rabbits in a pen and killing them when the time arises), get sparse amounts of food and water, and must have a higher-ranked raptor order them around.

The Blackblood Tribe government is led by the biggest, meanest raptor bull at the time. The tribe decides on the most fearsome name they can give him, and give him it. HE then goes around, patrolling his lands, punishing raptors who don't do as he says. The current leader is Blackblood. If only the US could be as simple as that...
