'This meeting condemns the statement made by Carol Black and James Johnson in their letter to the Times of 17th May 2007 – “We restate our support for the Chief Medical Officer (for England) and his role in improving junior doctors’ training.” – which does not reflect in any way the views of the Scottish Consultants Committee.'

This was adopted unanimously, with no abstentions.
