Squirmole

Squirmole was the Minimon that started off the whole Minimon era he was based on a little Mole that the little boy who cam e up with the idea of Minimon saw and said that the mole was so small and nice that he would then make some sort of series of monsters called Minimon however the first Squirmole was going to be grey but that made him look old so then he was brown but as a tribute to this grey Squirmole later in a cartoon called "Grandad Squirmole comes for a visit" the new "old" character was released called Grandad Squirmole but to avoid confusion to viewers who are colour blind he was not only grey but also had a beard and the makers of the toon say that if he appear in later cartoons they will try and add other "old features" such as wrinkles, liver spots,bags under the eyes and more.

Squirmole like most cartoon characters has a love-life too he has a date called Squirmella (a play on the use of the words ella after some male names) who appears frequently in cartoons and Special Yearly ones.

Squirmole is quite intelligent but in few occasions he may be a "dim bulb" such as the episode "The Burrow" where he finds a burrow in his garden and tries to dispose of it by using a grenade to blow it up which then makes it bigger with a sign coming out of the hole saying "Thanks for making my house bigger,idiot!" and then using a fire hose to flood it but then making numerous holes with water spurting out of them.
