All file names will end in the standard three-letter file extension for that file format (preceded by a period).
The standard file extensions are:
Images: .jpg, .gif, .psd, .tif, .psd
Movies: .mov, .mp4
Audio: .aif, .mp3, .wav
Text: .txt, .doc
Flash: .fla, .swf, .flv, .as

.fla: Source files for individual Flash movies .swf: Published form of .fla files .as: ActionScript files .flv: Video files used by Flash
Movie Encoding:
All movies will be encoded with Quicktime Pro into .mov format. Compression: H.264 Video quality: Sound quality: Processed videos will be compressed using Squeeze or Flash Encoder into .flv format.
Audio Formating:
File Format: MPEG3 – 160kbps Interface Audio: MP3 compressed no lower than 64kbps.
Images:
Vector Images will be drawn in Adobe Illustrator and Flash. Bitmap Images will be created using Adobe Software. All images will be optimized for the web using Adobe Software. Format: JPEG, GIF
Text Documents:
Text documents refered to in ActionScript will be stored in the .txt format.
