All file names will end in the standard three-letter file extension for that file format (preceded by a period).
The standard file extensions are:
Images: .jpg, .gif, .psd, .tif
Movies: .mov, .mp4
Audio: .aif, .mp3, .wav
Text: .txt, .doc
Flash: .fla, .swf, .flv, .as
File Format Guidlines:
Flash Formats:
.fla: Source files for individual Flash movies. .swf: Published form of .fla files. .as: ActionScript files .flv: Video files used by Flash.

Pre-processed format: .mov Post-processed format: .flv (Pre-processed videos will will be compressed using Squeeze or Flash Encoder into .flv format.) Compression: H.264 Video quality: High Sound quality: High
Audio Formating:
File Format: MPEG3 – 160kbps Interface Audio: MP3 compressed no lower than 64kbps.
Images:
Post-Processed format: .jpg, .gif Pre-Production format: .psd, .ai, .tiff Vector Images will be drawn in Adobe Illustrator and Flash. Bitmap Images will be created using Adobe Software. All images will be optimized for the web using Adobe Software.
Text Documents:
Text documents refered to in ActionScript will be stored in the .txt format.
