La Bahía del Quinto is a prefectura of Costa Moscada, located in the western part of the comarca. It has an area of 460.4 sq.km. It is named for the Bahía del Quinto.
The adjacent prefecturas or equivalents are El Andújar, Berguedana, El Tajito, and Elche.
The prefectural seat is Balboa.
