[edit] come let me drown;

Most of the time, the world makes sense, when he looks at it the way other people do. It's strange, thinking of the normal way to perceive the world as something other people do, and sometimes, he can almost forget. When it's been days since he's had a vision, he can almost slip, almost forget, hope that maybe, maybe, whatever is wrong with him, that whatever has been wrong with him since he Exalted, has gone away, mysteriously.

And then he looks into the Loom, or has a vision, the world twists and shifts and breaks, he knows too much and it's shattering something inside him, he can't possibly contain it all and he screams and screams and screams because that's the only way he knows to let it out, and everything's sideways and he doesn't remember anything until he's putting himself back together all over again.

[edit] too far is next spring;

Normally quiet, serious, and brooding, Veritas is slow when dealing with humor, insensitive at times, self-obsessed a fair bit of the time, and is extremely slow to forget or forgive. He also has a penchant for the dramatic, especially dramatic sulking: however, it can be said, that he is at least dependable and fair-minded. He is not very good at deceit, very straightforward, or at picking up on social cues, or at putting his throughts into words. Unfortunately, when his visions overtake him, he is far less then lucid, a strange kind of delirious madness takes him, in which the world shifts and turns upside-down, seeing far too much.

[edit] painted illusions of lust;

Veritas is a slender, very pale, fine-boned boy with long, unruly blue-black hair that he usually wears loose, beautiful if very thin and frail-looking, with the star-flecked green eyes of a Chosen of Secrets, but his eyes are strangely faraway and haunted. He never smiles, his expression perpetually serious or sulking. He has a habit of dressing in all black, long flowing things that only emphasize his pallor, and moves with a distant grace.
