Jun is a very tall-extraordinarily tall, even by Western standards-, slender young man, with beautiful, fine-boned features, even girlishly pretty: however, his looks are not the first thing anyone notices about him. Rather, what what tends to catch their attention is the undeniable, inexplicable aura of menace that hangs about him. His white hair is longish, hanging into his red eyes, casting them into shadow, and he usually smiles sarcastically, either in a "I know something you don't know" or "you are so slow to catch on, and I am being quite patient with you" fashion. He dresses very simply, usually, though he favors a touch of the anachronistic: he often chooses to wear geta, despite his considerable height, and a strangely woven haori, that is made of fabric that shimmers deepest purple and stark white. He often wears thin, wire-frame glasses, that when he's not wearing them, are clipped to the collar of his haori with a metal clip and red string.

Tsuchiya Jun, as far as anyone knows, is just a university student, a university student who might possibly be one of the most brilliant minds that has ever lived, though even his teachers have not seen the full extent of his intelligence. His parents died in a car accident when he was a child, and he was bounced from relative to relative, because no one wanted to take him in or keep him, a strange, frightening child who did not even cry for his own family.
No one wanted him. And strange and aloof as he was, it didn't seem to matter.

And he grew up alone and unloved, and once he went to university on a scholarship, cut all ties with his family and made his own way.
