Olympia

This island was the second nation in the Rift to develop civilization, and they are proud of it. Constant good weather and warm temperatures have led to a construction style that favors open places, small houses, and a multitude of public buildings. Because of this, Olympians tend to be quite social and politically active. Governance is handled individually by city, and each city sends representatives to a Senate that governs the few matters that must be addressed by the whole nation. The most notable city is Daidelion, a magnificent city that actually extends past the Great Falls. Unlike the rest of Olympia, which tends to be slightly disdainful of foreigners, Daidelion thrives almost entirely on tourism, with a rapidly growing emphasis on extreme sports.
