Serenity Horton (full name "Serenity Sarada Sylvia Sonia Shiori Horton") is the protagonist of Lunar Shadow. She was born on 10 March 2001.

Appearance
Serenity has reddish-brown shoulder-length hair with a green eye; her left eye is missing due to her Taint. She has a scar over her left eye. She has fair skin.

Her default attire in Lunar Shadow consists of a sapphire blue shirt with a right sleeve, and no left sleeve; a dark sky blue knee-length skirt, lavender tights and gold-colored Mary-Jane shoes. She covers her left hand with a dark blue elbow-length glove.

Serenity lives in Yes Town, on the Tirahnys continent of planet Newerth, in the Serenth galaxy. She is ambidextrous.
Story
Lunar Shadow ZER0
When the Castle Master made his decree, several children and Valkyrie Horton were kidnapped by his minion, Ciel Sorcière. It is implied that Serenity managed to defeat Ciel in a brief battle, though it is yet unclear if this is true or not.
Serenity remained in Yes Town while her father, Evan O'Neill, tried to rescue her mother, Valkyrie, from the evil Castle Master.
Lunar Shadow
In the Lunar Soul Castle
Serenity went to the castle, armed with only Invidia.
She later learns from Alexis Flamberge that Shinica is her twin sister.
In the Confusion Zone
After defeating the twin goddesses, Invidia and Nemesis, Serenity and Ilina learn that they are sisters, and are given three wishes each.
One of Serenity's wishes is the revival of her mother, Valkyrie Horton.
In the epilogue
Solar Shadow 2
Serenity appears as a boss in the Magic School. She does not wish to attack Selena Daria, but is being mind controlled to do so. She uses Acidic Bubble, Crescent Moon, Arcanum, and Misery's End.
