Zale Linius

Zale Linius is the head of House Linius and current King of Orecrest. His wife, Miserta Linius, and son, Wardrick Linius, are holding the throne while Zale attends the negotiations in Torrent.

In Orecrest, a royal vote can be called at any time, and in Zale's absense, the people are considering it. Zale has been a decent leader, but, as the war ends, exports (largely of weapons and armor) have dropped significantly; the people of Orecrest fear that the negotiations will "force" Zale into signing over free supplies for other rebuilding nations. Zale, knowing his position and popularity are already threatened, may be willing to sacrifice his position and agree for the right amount, though it will harm his House. If a new leader is elected soon, they will likely take a strong stance against such a proposal. To remain competitive, House Linius is nominating one of Zale's cousins, Menvle Linius, and doing little to protect the names of Zale's wife and son, who are now in a very dangerous situation.
