"They" (or "Them" as the case may be) are a group of Ajyendari vigilantes that work to insure Ajyendar's honor system remains equal. There are those who cannot defend their honor, and They make sure slander goes not unpunished. They also execute hits or carry out threats upon the dishonorable.
The simple pronoun They was chosen because, as far as anyone knows, there are only a handful of core members who act as choreographers, and the vast majority of Their actions are actually carried out by random people on the street--so strong is Their support. Although They generally favor the common man, the heavily aristocratized government of Ajyendar still leaves Their operations unhindered.
