Mt. Lekry

From Lost Realm

Mt. Lekry is the fifth highest peak in the Lost Realm, located in the mountain chain that partly seperates Relforsia and Candrim and a source of fear and superstition to the Relforsian people.

Discovery

The history behind its discovery is fairly sad. It was found by Thomas Lekry in the early years after landing. Lekry reported back to a still small, developing northern nation. (This is assuming that Humans landed in the north). He took a light company with him to map the path he had taken and to see what minerals the mountain might possess. The night they reached the mountain, they set up a base camp.

Lekry loaded up with a full pack of gear and announced that he'd be going to the peak, "to gather in the full view", he had said. His corpse was found the next morning, brutally dismembered and hanging from a tree. The men never went to the mountain, fearing monsters. To this day, the mountain is said to be the home of Blood Spawn and that the spirit of Mr. Lekry haunts it.

Blood Spawn

Mt. Lekry is home to a fairly large "tribe" of Blood Spawn that attacked the Relforsian city of Lekry at the beginning of the Deluge. After the attack, the Blood Spawn retreated to Lekry, though a large amount remain in the city, holding off any attempts by the small Relforsian army to reclaim the city.

The Relforsian army has sent their wishes for reinforcement to reclaim the city with their delegate to Torrent, Alloran Craseau. Whether or not he can get said reinforcements to Lekry, however, remains to be seen as he already has a large amount of legislation to push through.
