You head out and venture to the northern wing of the castle, and ask around until a servant girl points you in the direction of a small feasting hall. You enter the room and find a man and a woman conversing while clearing off the table.
You recognize the woman immediately as Jerianus, head Custodian. She came into your father's service two days before you were born when she was barely fourteen, and through sheer determination and hard work, rose through the ranks to become master of all the castle's daily workings.
