Character Description

He is Zadavia's evil brother. His appearance is described as having an artificial eye and metal faced on the right side, as he had lost the left part of his face trying to prevent Zadavia from leaving the home planet. It is revealed later in the second season that he was the person responsible for sending the comet towards Acmetropolis, giving the Loonatics their powers,a s well as powers for super-villains. He did this because he had tracked Zadavia to that planet, and was trying to wipe her out, seeing her as a big threat to his goal of conquering the universe/galaxy. He had failed, as Zadavia had used her powers to slow down the comet, so that he could not destroy Acmetropolis. He later tries to send a larger comet that was 500 times the size of the original comet, to try to eliminate Zadavia and the Loonatics, but failed when the Loonatics had blown the comet to pieces.

Optimatus is a mysterious character who possesses similer, if not exact same, powers as Zadavia. At the time the Loonatics first season, he resided on a ruined planetoid which he used as his base of operations during all of his Loonatics appearences. He appears in the final moments of The Comet Cometh, as well as the episodes Acmegeddon: Part 1, Acmegeddon: Part 2, The Music Villain, The Fall of Blanc, Part 1 and finally in The Search of Tweedums, Part 2.

In the season 1 finale of Loonatics Unleashed, He appears again to fulfill his mission, freeing Massive, Sypher, Mallory Mastermind, and Weathervane to aid his attempt to defeat the Loonatics. He also entices them by claiming that he will allow them to rule Acmetropolis if they succeed. After he made up his mind that the villains "failed" him, he revealed his plan of destroying Acmetropolis. He sends the villains to Acmetropolis saying they can "rule it for 5 minutes". However, in the end he and his robot army get sucked into a black hole. Zadavia says he will end up in a dark, cold, deserted part of space. He appeared in the season 2 finale thanks to Rupes Oberon using Zadavia's stolen powers on him. Both of them locate Deuce and invade Planet Blanc in an attempt to use Blanc's wormhole technology to conquer the universe and seek out Tweetums' sceptor. He was double-crossed by Deuce and had to fight alongside the Loonatics, Zadavia, and Sylth Vester. In the end, he renounces his evil ways.
