Mikomi is introduced in Book 3, when Oteno and Kato act as distractions so the others can get into the Demon Ambasador's room and steal information.

Place in the Story
Mikomi is the daughter of the Demon Ambasador, and is first introduced when Oteno is dashing across the roofs. He catches a glimpse of her while she, her father, and their guards are walking. Oteno almost blows his cover doing so, and instantly falls in love.
Traits, Personality, and Life
Mikomi usually spends her days at her father's side, making appearances across the world and, on rare occasion, a conference with Leiax. But no matter where she is, she is always in her blue and yellow dress. It is very formal and fancy, and she is made to wear it so she "looks nice and doesn't disrespect anyone, especially The Demon King".
Despite her fancy lifestyle and dresings, she is completely opposed to the demons, even with her father's opinion and status. She never lets a demon handle her or anything of her's, and is actually only with them when her father makes her come with him. She is very kind, and quick on her feet and in reaction. Thus, she is very agile, even surpassing Kato in speed and stealth.
On top of that, she is skilled in weaponry. Her most used weapons are two kunai, which is one thing Oteno loves about her. She also is comfortable with swords and daggers.
One interesting thing about her is her strange ability to turn her jewelry (which consists of a diamond necklace, diamond earings, and a diamond bracelet) and hair into fire. It is unknown whether she naturally has this ability, but it is suspected that she has gained it from constant exposure to fire demon energy (as all of her father's guards are fire demons).
New Life
When Oteno and Kato discover a hidden room in the palace, she suddenly appears at the entrance behind them. They begin to fight, her skill matching both of theirs. In the end it is a draw, and Kato asks her buisness of being there. She tells him and Oteno of her father being the Demon Ambasador, and how she hates demons. In the end, she leaves with them (after making a wardrobe change).
Trivia
The Demon Ambasador is one of 7, each representing one continent. They are corrupt humans, who have decided ot side with the demons rather than their own race. they are widely hated, which is why they have bodyguards with them at all times. They usually make speeches to try to get the humans to give in, and have conferences with Leiax to tell him what is going on in their rule.
