Alison,Your mom forwarded your blog to me and I was dpeely touched by the sensitivity, humor, and the so-real humanity of your excellent writing. You will be a role model for all who are fortunate to read your blog. As you well know from the experiences in your own family and now with your own temporary interruption, life is what happens to you while you are busy doing something else'. I noted that you may be undergoing radiation treatment, and I am delighted to say that my own recent experience with radiation following surgery with 40 treatments over an 8 week period resulted in virtually no side effects whatsoever. I accused my oncology team of using placebo radiation on me. I hope you have a similar experience.
