George G. Bushman
Private graveside services were held this morning, Feb. 7, in Rest Haven Memorial Park for George G. Bushman, 91, of Chula Vista, Calif., a former mahor of Springfield. The Rev. Walter Gray of the Central Presbyterian church officiated, with Poole-Larsen Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr Bushman, who died Feb. 3, in Chula Vista, was in partnership with his sons in the Eugene Mill and Planing Co. (sic) for more than 30 years, moving to southern California 15 years ago. He served as mayor of Springfield from January 1925, until January of 1929.
