Perspective

From Jsarmi

What is a perspective? What is perspective taking? Perspective taking” occurs through boundary objects (Boland and Tenkasi, 1995)??? Knowledge sharing is creating new potential/capacities for action (Churchman, 1971) in others.

Affordances and Selectivity Calibration As noted earlier, as agents move within an environment (see Figure 4), they directly discern invariants through available informational structures that afford action possibilities. These action possibilities, affordances, are available for the class of agents who have the same potential to discern these invariants from the same observation point. Perceived affordances are those that are relevant to a particular agent and depend on active selection of available information by the agent (Gibson, 1979; Heft, 2001). Active selection depends upon the goals, needs, and attunement of the agent (Heft, 2001). Selectivity calibration deals with aligning goals, needs, and attunement to affect active selection.
