Lieutenant-Colonel Thompson Calvin Colton 13th Baronet Southumberland DSO OBE MM Bt. is the main character of Thompson Colton: Agent of MI3. All episodes and specials involve his character in the primary spot. As Double-O Eleven, he is one of the many distinguished British Intelligence agents that are licensed to caryr out kills. However, he was transferred to MI3 to provide the service with more agents, due to a limit of 00 agents in MI6.
He was born on March 16, 1935 to Hobbes Brown Colton and Mary Stewart Colton in a decent family mansion in Southumberland. His father, Hobbes Colton participated in covert missions in Bulgaria in WWII, after which he was never seen again, leaving COlton with only his mother. He studied in Gotham Grammar school and graduated to Eton, where he was a member of the rugby and football teams. Following that, he enlisted in the British Army, where he participated in the War in the Sahara.
He rose through the ranks, and was made a Captain by the time he led an elite operation during the War in Serendipigal. His efforts during the war made him a candidate to be drafted into MI6. After a series of gruelling tests, he was eventually made a junior field operative in 1959. He would only be two years in the service before two assassinations granted him 00 status.
Thompson Colton began a partnership with French agent Marriane Suzzette, which began as a love-hate relationship of uneasy chat and distrust. However, across the many missions that the duo have embarked on as the agencie's best, they have grown closer and eventually developed a romantic relationship. Colton was well-liked, resulting in most members of the intelligence community having something or other to do with him. Childhood friend and American agent Sykes Fairbanks often assisted Colton and Suzette on their dangerous endeavours, being a master of technology and comunications. Colton also worked closely with MI6 agent James Bond, 007, on a number of occassions as well.
